Singer-Songwriter and Composer

Zora has been writing contemporary folk and pop songs since the tender age of 10, has studied Contemporary Songwriting at Post Grad level and delivers songwriting workshops for CMS London.

She has written, and released a solo EP, 2 x EPs and album with her previous band, The Tatsmiths and 2 x EPs with latest folk roots collective Dryadic.

The prolific singer-songwriter performs with guitar and piano, creating a beguiling soundscape which showcases her individuality and flair. Her unique, captivating and soulful voice compliments her spellbinding renditions of cherry-picked cover songs and charming, unforgettable originals. As well as folk roots works, contemporary pop and heart wrenching ballads, she composes contemporary classical piano pieces, and scores original songs and new acapella arrangements of classic numbers for choral groups.

She has collaborated with many writers including such as Alfie Weedon (Cousteau, AK Patterson, Cynefin), anarcho-folk-punk songwriter Cosmo, award winning singer-songwriter and Brighton legend Paul Diello (Epicene, El Geebee Tea Queue, Brighton Pride), Jake Skinner (Brighton Road Studios, Nigel Kennedy, Ellie Ford), Josh Wunderlich (DWB Music Ltd) and Sam DFL (Stay Up Forever, Flat Life Records).

Dryadic

Dryadic is a collective of top notch musicians that bring Singer & Songwriter Zora’s acoustic works to life. Hailing from the Bristol bound waterways of South West England, the sound traverses an acoustic spectrum with a British/European folk core and smatterings of roots, jazz, gypsy and pop at the edges.

Dryadic’s captivating rhythms, melodies, harmonies and hooks, underpin candid, heartfelt lyrics, riding on a silky wave of acoustic guitars, strings, pianos and acoustic bass. Performing solo, duo or with a band, Dryadic masterfully command audiences with an inimitable balance of trad, new, alternative, romantic and rousing.
